| Additional information: | There were some eighty-eight W Hudson’s died in the First World War. In the 1911 census a William Hudson, 17 years of age, was listed as being a farm labour, living in Aghagaskin Magherafelt. In 1912 a Willie Hudson from Curran signed the Ulster Covenant in Kilmarnock along with Robert and Hughey Leslie from Castledawson. The boys had presumably gone to Scotland seeking work and may all have signed up together. |
